Parent Faculty Club (PFC)
The purpose of the Thornhill Parent Faculty Club (PFC) is to foster academic knowledge, intellectual curiosity, imaginative thought, and social responsibility in our children. To that end, we work closely with Thornhill's principal and teachers to define priorities that supplement and support the school's programs, philosophy, and strategic plan; and we raise and allocate funds to accomplish these goals.
PFC meetings are held once per month, and all parents/guardians are invited. Meeting information can be found on Konstella, on the Thornhill Google Calendar, and via the newsletter. The Thornhill Parent Faculty Club (PFC) currently funds the following:
Every Thornhill parent and guardian is automatically a member of the Parent Faculty Club (PFC). The PFC is run by volunteers just like you. Volunteering is a great way to make a positive impact in our school community as well as a great way to meet other Thornhill parents and guardians. There are all different kinds of volunteer opportunities with varying levels of time commitment. You can even grab a friend or two and share a volunteer role.
