Get Involved!
There are many ways to get involved and stay connected at Thornhill, either during or outside classroom hours. Everyone's help is needed and wanted! Your child will love having you present at school activities, and it's a great way to get to know other families at the school.
Inside the classroom, the teacher will offer many opportunities to volunteer including:
There are also many ways to get involved outside the classroom. For example, we have several large events each year which need both organizers and volunteers. Be sure to check the calendar for all of our upcoming events and important dates.
All of the activities outside of the classroom are organized through the Parent Faculty Club (PFC), Thornhill's parent-teacher organization—all parents are automatically members. Getting involved in the PFC is a great way to make a huge impact on the quality of the experience your child will have at school.
We look forward to your participation!

- Signing up to be the class room parent
- Chaperoning and driving for field trips
- Helping out during class parties (i.e., Halloween, Holiday, End-of-year)
- Assisting in the classroom
