​Thornhill is an award-winning, TK-5 elementary school nestled in the hills of Oakland, California. 

We are proud to have been designated as a National Blue Ribbon School in 2016. In addition, Thornhill was named "Best K-8 School" by Oakland Magazine in 2012 and awarded the California Distinguished School Award in 2010.
