Thornhill Dads Club
The Dads Club brings together Thornhill fathers and our children for fun and service to the school—all while also doing our part to raise PFC funding.
Our mission has 3 primary and equal initiatives: Social, Service and Fundraising. The Dads Club is open to all, run by a core steering committee, and supported by our member volunteers who help staff our many events.
To become involved, join our Facebook group and add your email to our mailing list by contacting the Thornhill Dads Club President, Rudy Gonzalez, at email@example.com.
Activities & Events
Dads Club organizes and/or plays a key role in the following school events:
Why Join Dads Club?
Social interaction between Thornhill Dads plays a large role in the club. Every fundraising event and service activity we run performs good works, while still including time for FUN. Besides our monthly adults-only meetings, which are held off-campus (e.g., dinners, poker nights, golfing, etc.), many of our social involve our kids (e.g., hikes, bike rides, book drives). Service projects involve good works performed for the school by the Dads Club with the active participation of our children.
There are events and activities both large and small throughout the school year at which to volunteer—and any level of participation is appreciated. We are limited only by the energy and enthusiasm of our membership!
When Does Dads Club Meet?
Our member meetings and socials are held once a month in the evenings. All our adults-only events are no-host, off-campus, free to attend, and open to all (moms too!)
Upcoming events will be listed in the Dads Club Corner of the weekly newsletter and on Konstella.
To get on our Dads Club mailing list for the inside scoop on all of our activities, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
