JCC East Bay Kids' Club Thornhill Before & Afterschool Program
JCC Kids’ Club at Thornhill serves to complement and enhance learning in the classroom through educational, physical, artistic, and social-emotional experiences in a welcoming atmosphere.
We provide children the opportunity to expand their day through enrichment classes, develop meaningful relationships with their teachers, and build community with their peers.
The program includes structured outside play, homework support, and plenty of fun activities to complement a child’s school day. Our staff is well trained in communication, conflict management, and lesson planning, and is here to support each child’s needs whether it be helping with homework, reading a story, painting, or playing an energetic game of soccer.

Program Details:
- PM Care will be open everyday after school until 6:00pm
AM Care will be open from 7:00 or 7:30am. - Students get a lot of choice!
- Balance of active and passive activities
- Each day includes group time by grade
- Each day includes activities by interest where students may mix across ages
- Choice time each day includes a mix of enrichment classes, sports, art, free play
- Homework help will be determined as needed, but we provide a space for students to get work done
