About the Walkathon
This is an annual event that gets all of our students, teachers, staff, and family members in their walking shoes! This year's theme was "Go for Gold with the Thornhill Olympic Walkathon Team" and we spent a beautiful day together walking around the Thornhill campus, collecting lap prizes, cooling down with Otter pops, enjoying eats from the Dads Club grill, and walking some more!
The funds we raise during this event support our Parent Faculty Club enrichment and community programs including library, computer lab, art, music, PE and much more.
The Fundraising Continues!
Although the Walkathon itself is over, you have until October 28 to make your donations count toward the fundraising prizes! Place checks/cash with your pledge sheet in the gold Walkathon box in the office. Everyone with $100 in donations gets a Walkathon water bottle, and $250 in donations gets you an Olympic poster.
Everyone is still in the running for these fundraising prizes:
The Walkathon always encourages friendly competition, and this year was no exception!
Our Walkathon was supported by generous donations from the following local businesses - please consider supporting them in return!
Congratulations to everyone who participated and THANK YOU for helping us Go for the Gold!
